There are two very different things sold under that phrase. The first is an honestly-labelled fragrance from a house that puts its own name on the bottle and says it was inspired by Le Male Le Parfum. That is a legitimate product, and if you find one you like, buy it. The second is a bottle sold as Jean Paul Gaultier at a fraction of retail.
