Who Runs Soundmali

The short version: Soundmali is run by a small team at an independent UK-registered retailer. The audio products we stock are evaluated in-house by our team of experienced sound engineers. We do not employ perfumers or an expert review panel. Here is exactly who we are, what we do and do not claim, and how to reach us.

Plain disclosure: Soundmali is an independent retailer. We are not an authorised dealer for Apple, Samsung, Bose, Sony, Louis Vuitton, Kilian or any other brand we stock, and we do not claim to be. We sell the products we write about, so treat our guides as an informed retailer's opinion — not as independent journalism.

Who we actually are

Soundmali is operated by Soundmali Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15165919, incorporated September 2023). You can verify all of this yourself on the UK public register at Companies House.

We are a small team, not a media publisher. We do not operate an acoustic laboratory — our audio evaluation is hands-on, on professional equipment, by our own sound engineers. Everything on this site is written and checked in-house. If you want to reach the person responsible for a page, email support@soundmali.com — a real person reads it.

Who evaluates our audio products

Audio evaluation at Soundmali is carried out in-house by our team of experienced sound engineers — people who work professionally with live sound and studio equipment. It is not outsourced, and it is not done by a marketing team.

What that means in practice: checks are carried out on professional audio equipment — mixing consoles, wireless systems, studio monitors, measurement tools and reference headphones — not on consumer listening gear alone.

What we are good at

Two things, honestly: sourcing genuine sealed stock in consumer audio and designer fragrance, and explaining the difference between products in plain language so you can pick the right one. That is the value we offer. We are a shop staffed by experienced sound engineers — we evaluate the audio we stock ourselves, and we say so plainly when we have not.

What we do not claim

We are not authorised dealers for the brands we stock.
We do not operate an acoustic laboratory or employ an expert review panel.
We do not claim to have bought or personally tested every product we sell. Where we have handled a product, the page says so; where we have not, we rely on the manufacturer's official documentation, verified supplier information and genuine customer feedback — and we say that too.
We do not evaluate fragrance in a laboratory and we do not employ perfumers.
We do not publish review counts, ratings or customer numbers we cannot substantiate.
